This is a flod-out carrying case/playset by Ideal Toys. Probably from the late 60s or early 70s.
It folds out to reveal a fort on one side and an Indian village on the others. Sadly the teepees are missing. The Indians and cavalry figures are close to two inches tall, generally referred to as 45mm. There were some larger figures made by Marx which were made in the 54mm scale. Not original to the set but kids would mix and match. It does not work as well as the Marx Carry-All sets as the terrain is not flat and the fort ramparts aren't level. The small 45mm figures have trouble standing up. But it does have great graphics.
The most popular vinyl carrying case sets made by Ideal were made for Matchbox and they also made some for GI Joe. Back then different toy companies had different capabilities. So they would have different companies make items for their product line. In this case Ideal made one for themselves.
