MY goodness--has the passing of the century (these 2 over 100 years old) distorted the meaning of these cards to such an extent it leaves up shaking our heads?
BUT,YOU MUST ENLARGE THESE TO SEE THEM

THE HAT STAND IN THE HALL..RED HEART SAYS "TO MY VALENTINE" ,A CLOSED UMBRELLA NEXT TO THAT.
Oh I didn't see this on back before--It is a TUCKS card "Puns" Seried #13
Hat-stand--I get it. But these days we seldom see them. We never had one in my family.
