Bäck Göran designed this EE ashtray in early 1960's, and they were manufactured during 1965- 1975.
"Ruska" translates "foliage". If you are wondering why sometimes you will find "Ruska" pattern either in gloss finish vs. matte finish. To best of my knowledge, they were made in both finishes, the difference is with the name. "Mahonki" has gloss finish"." _Quote.
There is also different style "Ruska" ashtray designed by Ulla Procopé, model S. which were manufactured up till 1999.
