Purchased this travel trunk at a local thrift store. They couldn't tell me anything about it. On one of the sides is some kind of postage like stamp. The only thing i could make out is Union Depot Railroad Co. Not real sure of the age. Its made of wood and a thin metal. Thought itwould make a great addition to my libray i am working on.
It's a great trunk. Has the camel back type top and at least a partial insert. Probably around 100 years old or so. Please note I am not a trunk ecpert just an antiques guy.
