I got this mug for 25 cents at a church sale. I just adore cobalt blue glass. My research say it's cut by a company called Kokesh Cut glass in Seattle. I found pictures of cobalt blue glasses with the same cut on them that were from the 1962 worlds fair. The mug says made in the U.S. Does anyone have any other information on it?

I bought one of these at the Space Needle in 1994 when I was vacationing in Seattle. I unfortunately dropped mine and it shattered. I am looking to replace it actually.

Just saw this post. The artist, Bill Kokesh, is a long time family friend. He had a glass cutting shop at the SE corner of NE 65th Ave and Latona Ave NE in Seattle, WA. Google “Kokesh Cut Glass” and you’ll get pix of lots of his pieces. Bill closed the business several years ago, and retired in the Seattle area. He’s still living! One of my wife’s and my favorite wedding gifts are champagne flutes he carved for us with our names on them.

I gave this to a friend as a gift. :) She said she went to Seattle and never bought a Souvenir.
