Josie is the blond, she is like Cindy Brady only without the edge. Janice is the prim serious one.
One of the unique feature of the Johnny West series was that appealed to boys and girls although I doubt if many boys would like these for Christmas. But there were horses and a couple of other female figures designed to attract girls to the line.
While the boys came with a Colt .45and a bowie knife the girls had wristwatch and a compact.
The girls also had different torsos.See the second and third photos for details.
Next will be a sneak preview of Sam Cobra.

I'm surprised that turquoise even transcends to toys. Couches or Divans to lamps and dishes and pottery...and of course the popularity of the jewelry. Another history lesson!

Thank you very much shareurpassion. It's a great color, toys of the 60s tend be richer and less glossy than those of today.
