We inherited this wood burner and want to re-furbish it but can not find any information on it. Can this group supply some ideas on where to start.

If you can find foundry marks/numbers that will help you. I believe you will find this stove was actually made in Sweden and imported to the UK. A Swedish company AGA cooker made stoves that were imported into the UK after 1929. The only foundry information I could find was a foundry called Coalbrookdale, which would make the stove 1940's or later. The company is now called AGA Rangemaster so they may be of help.

I have the same Newcomer Stove except mine is black.
It is in everyday use in our conservatory.
The copper water box has long rotted away and most of the inside was replaced with fire brick.
