This is a straight razor made by Cattaraugus cutlery in Little Valley,NY.

I'm pretty sure it's ivory,I'm not 100% certain but I can usually tell the French Ivory pretty easy and it's not that.

I know it's not bone,I can tell bone from delrin or plastic just by look and feel,but I've never been around much ivory.But with the faux ivory,you can see the lines in it without a loupe,this one you need a loupe to see the lines and if you turn it 90 degrees they disappear,so I'm pretty sure that it's ivory.

I have a razor some what like this but with detail art on the handle.I have been told it is ivory handle. made in germany.what is the value of a piece like this?
