This is not a faboulous object, but still I think that it old, because of the blank and the painting. Is a naive copy of Sevres urn with a frontal panel that has a complex of hand painted flowers in a very old style. The gilt is not in relieve but plain. The mark seems that of Samson, Paris, for this type of urns, second picture, and it bears the sticker of the Art Gallery in Córdoba, my city, where it has been purchased perhaps around 1950. We payed to Dorita Ferrari about 20 U$D for it three years ago. I am posting this so that my three celeste porcelain urns are posted and because this weekend we do not purchased anything at all.

Creo que quiere dar a entender que esperaba ver otra cosa, algo mas diferente. (ejemplo, un vase japones -- yo tambien pensaba que eso era.)

Sorry kivatinitz I really did not realise. I said I did not think it was this type of urn. I seen the flowers & thought it was a vase. If this is not better for you to understand please let me know. I will try to remember in future. Have a good day to you & your family. Thanks for your help katherinescollections
