Speaking of pedestal pieces...I stumbled across these the other day...rare decors and rare to have the pedestal....thought I would link them to the other pedestal piece posted here.

My question is really about the stand. I know that these were done by Leerdam for some similar footed bowls by Chris Lebeau.

Could I ask the diameter of the stand at top and/or the fitting at the base of the bowl for insertion into the stand? I only ask as I am waiting for a stepped bowl which I think is Welz with exactly that sort of bottom (but without stand) that was sold as a ceiling light.

IanBrighton, I am unable to measure them as I do not own them.
I think I know of the piece you are talking about...is it blue and red? If its the one...I think I agree with you...it does look more like it should be on a pedestal.
