I got this beautiful Awaji piece for a great price on EBAY. Most people don't recognize Awaji when they see it and think a piece is just another 'made in japan' piece. Awaji was made up into the 1930s in Awaji Prefecture, Japan. This piece is simple and beautiful w/ an unusually colored glaze. it stands 9 inches tall.

thanks SEAN68! this one looks pretty good in my office/living room [i live in a 500 sq ft garden house in East Oakland]. it's packed from floor to ceiling and also all over the ceiling w/ my funky collections. i like serene pieces like this one more and more.
