Old Saw Horses, and Broom have no idea the year these were found up in my attic... The broom old I know that was in fire but the bristles were protected with a cloth, might have been used for a mop possibly...

The saw horses are an early version of a work center. The slots cut in the top are to hold lumber in place. They should fit a 2x4 fairly snug. As an example; set them up six feet apart and put eight foot 2x4 in the slots. If you are building a door for example the work can be accessed top and bottom for doing raised panels or doweling the tenons etc. They have multiple uses and modern versions have aluminum legs and plastic top with grooves/slots built in.

Everything has a value to someone. You might make out better trying to swap them for something else.

As for the broom, I would say it is not a broom. Looks more like an old scrub brush. You will probably have to pay someone to take it.
