    Paper mache, painted face and cardboard type beak (need repair).
    Love the top hat, yellow glittery surface and the cartoonish face.
    About 6" tall from base to top hat and about 5" from the tip of the beak to the back of the head.
    This came from my grandmothers collection, it could have been my grandfather's, he came from Prussia around 1900. I don't have any idea as to the date.
    It would come out at Easter with candy in it.

      These papier mache eggs seem to be commonly be made in Germany so it likely is from your grandfather. This one is extra quirky however!
