Another bit of Japanese green with iridescence - love this stuff!

Tajima Glass, a large company still in business, has been responsible for much of the moulded glass out of Japan since the 1950s. This vase is from early days, probably 1960s, and has been moulded and then hot worked.

The vase has started with white glass, cased in a fantastic bright light green, and then iridised.
The result is a green, glowing, alive thing!
Or maybe that slime we had as kids, but nicer.

I suppose you've guessed I like this one heaps.....
