    In days of Yore, when men had a shave they didn't used a throwaway plastic razor with 5 blades in it or no they used British steel razors in a British made Ever-ReaDY safety razor in its own marked red box.

    Although Valet and Gilette are also good razors. I prefer to be Ever-ready!

      Yes, these razors are nice. Love the deco on some of them too. You do know that the year is on the inside right? I'm trying to remember if that's only on Gillette or is it both? I believe it's on there somewhere. Look under the blade.

      The patent number is 1912 but that's not the actual date of manufacture. One of my earliest patent dates was a vallet strop at 1902 but again that's the patent date.
