    This pitcher is 9" tall and about 6" across at it's widest part, made of cloudy glass with a painted design of yellow and red flowers. The cover is red plastic with a pour spout covered with metal. On the bottom in raised font appears to be a large H with an A underneath. Then the number 5378. There is a lone 8 below that. My mom received this as a wedding present in 1948. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

      If the mark looks like this - it's Hazel Atlas Glass, not Anchor Hocking;

      And at 9" tall, I would think it is the accompanying juice pitcher;
      Here are some similar patterns - the first is the smaller syrup pitcher;

      Thank you so much. Yes, it is the Hazel Atlas Glass, and now I can remember seeing little juice glasses matching this pattern as a kid. I greatly appreciate your time and input.
