Been in my family for a very long time, I'm 18 and it's been here for as long as I can remember, I stumbled across it and it's really intriguing. I've been searching all over the internet but I can't seem to find any information or even any similar to the one I have here.. The pictures aren't the best as they were taken from my iPad, on the front next to the 'Frankfurt' it has been marked 'lm.' I don't know if that's meant to be an L or an I..Would love to know where it came from, is it an antique or just a replica, possibly what it's worth too? Any information is good because I'm just really curious, it looks and feels amazing

    Thanks

The Frankfurt /M is short for Frankfurt am Main - the 1/2 impressed on base is for 1/2 liter (size) - Original King impressed mark is for King-Werk (King Works) a.k.a. Würfel & Müller G.m.b.H. & Co. K.G. (1949-date) - yours would have also had a round Original King W. Germany sticker on bottom which is no longer there.

So based on what you said, does it seem to be genuine or worth anything? I'm not looking to sell it, Just curious:) But also thank you for the further information!

I have this same exact stein and I do have a round sticker on the bottom that says "Handmalerei handpainted original KING Western Germany". This one Charlie Alliston originally posted is the only other I can find, even with the additional information aghcollect added in the comments. Would anyone be willing to point me in the right direction on value of this stein? Unfortunately I am not a collector but need to price items for an estate sale and this one has me stumped! All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
