    What is this?? What is it used for? Scraping paint?? I found this in an old tool box and I am trying to figure out what it is used for.

      It is a gasket scraper, I have one in my tool box and use it often.

      Actually it is a fin comb. I also have a couple of them. This one was made for a car radiator while mine were made for AC and also car radiators. The bottom band on this would have slid up to open the tines to the desired width. Then you used it as a comb to straighten and clean radiator fins.
