I don't know anything about dolls, I inherited this one. Can you tell from photos, make, age, brand, name????? Anything

Our resident doll expert may come in and offer some information, I just wanted to say she's lovely, and what a wonderful little sailor suit! :)
There should ne another number on back of head if you pull up head a bit do you see one ? The numbers shown refer to size not mold number , She is not wearing original wig which also would be a clue if opening on top of hard was plaster under wig . Can you look for another number and let me know .

I deleted the original photos and as suggested I removed her clothes, which to my surprise looks like she is a renovated doll, new lower limbs. I couldn't see that in her sailor suit with the long sox. But I was able to get a better picture of the back of her head with more numbers and letters. Hopefully this will help you figure out more about her and you can give me get more information about her. Thank you so much.

most did not have a name just a mold number like yours . Yes something has been done to body . Replacement parts or put on another body , JDK usually had bodies stamped in red with a crown . Not unusual to see on a different body as they sold heads to other companies and also heads were sometimes changed out when in for repair . She is lovely !

Johann Daniel Kestner Jr. (JDK) of Waltershausen, Thuringia, Germany began making papier mache and wood dolls and toys as early as 1816. Kestner eventually went on to employ nearly three quarters of the inhabitants of the Waltershausen region which earned him the nickname "King Kestner". In 1858 J.D. Kestner passed away and his grandson Adolf eventually took over the running of the company, around 1860 Kestner produced wax over papier mache doll heads, by 1860 they acquired the Ohrdug porcelain factory and began to produce the bisque dolls known by collectors today. Kestner leather kid bodies may have a green label Celebrated, Excellence, Excelsior, Marvel, Par Excellence or Perfection along with the Kestner crown and streamer label.
Unique to Kestner is the doll heads plaster like pates.
I don't know why such a big space in comment ? I asked about the top of head because she looked like a Kestner and they always had a plaster pate the cover over opening on top of head . Your wig was replaced but if they did not need to work on her eyes it should still be there .
What is a plaster pate?
She also has a red stamp in the small of her back, just says made in Germany 44, it showed in the first photos I posted, but no crown. So she could be as old as early 1900.
A plaster pate is like a lid to cover the hole on top of her head , The hole on top of her head is there so they could insert eyes after she was fired , The wig is always glued to that , Some Bisque dolls have more like a fiber cardboard type cover , Kestner always used plaster . She would date around 1890-1920 . They were made over a long period of time . She has more of a character face vs a dolly face in the world of doll collecting a character face is always more desirable. It has personality :-) And her chubby chin .

That lid over the hole in the head answers lots of age old questions. Just don't tell my wife I said that. I will look for glue when she is sleeping. ;) Mani is the best
