This has a lid to fit, but to include it would detract from the glass! I am not sure if this is an ice bucket or a biscuit jar but it could work as either.
It has a distinctive FWK label, my first.
The mount is unmarked white metal with a Bakelite or celluloid handle, I imagine.
15.8cm tall and 12cm across the rim (mount).

The handle looks like butterscotch Catalin, a plastic similar to bakelite, but different.

Thanks and, yes, Fran, I think the label quite something, not least as it is firmly linked to Welz, as much as the decor. Labels can be faked, but the provenance of this from France makes that slightly less likely, as well as the fact that it wasn't sold as a labelled piece by the specific maker, I think.
