OK-ANOTHER MYSTERY"-This 3-pc' set has no markings on it at all! I am very confused to say the least! I never saw anything like this with no markings-or some kind of way to find out who made it-if anybody knows anything about this item-I would REALLY love to hear it! THANKS for your help--c/dogg

WOW-THAT WAS FAST!! thanks--do you know why there is no maker on it?- the base looks like silver--but its probally just silver plate! is it a old item?-or not that old at all?I know nothing about it at all-so im sorry to bother you! thanks alot for your input/help--I was very curious about this thing--now I know!!! have a great weekend! c/dogg
It's a chafing dish, and it doesn't look like that bowl really goes with the base. A lot of places make them, a lot of the top pieces can be interchanges and most are silverplated.
