    I'm not sure who made this, but there are remnants of a lable on it. I like this kind of brown and white animal pottery. a lot of it was made here in california in the 40s/50s/60s, but i don't know much about it.

      Same company that made your bull and cow. Rio Hondo, El Monte, California. They specialized in small collectible figurines, especially animals.

      The earliest label was a plain paper sticker, printed in red. A foil label that said "Made in California" followed by the company name, was used in the 1940s and 1950s. The label on this piece was from the store where it was purchased, probably a price tag.
