During my sophomore year in high school, I dislocated my left ring finger so many times I had to have in fused. My first year in JC, I broke the fusion in the finger (that hurt) and we fashioned a knee pad over my hand a bit like that glove. That year, we had to play the College of the Redwoods in Humboldt Co. (Nor Cal) where it rarely stops raining. The field was mud from endzone to endzone and it would suck your shoes right off. At half time the refs had both teams take showers in our uniforms because they couldn't tell the difference between the teams.

I aqquired my first I think Pe-we- Helmet Much Like the one's in this Picture it sits next to this photo in my bedroom. Convo. With Old Timer Says No Helmets Used to be Used Then Came Helmet Then Came Use Head As Battering Ram Then Came Body ache Ect.... Great Stuff.
