Man, looks like I need to add Estate sales to my hunting! This is stunning!
Oh my gosh yes!!! Come to Green Bay and I'll show how it's done!! lol The Estate sale I went to today went like this: they gave you a number starting at 7am, let everyone into the house at 8am and you grab whatever you want before someone else gets it!! It's amazing!! I got very lucky today and got to the costume jewelry first!! I wish I could've bought the WHOLE table!!!! I really wish I knew more about other collectable stuff. They had amazing pictures that were priced at $20 to $40 that I'm pretty sure were worth so much more. Just cheap crazy prices at these things!
Green Bay! Guess I should have read this first. Do you ever get over to the twin cities? In June at our state fair grounds will be the first of 2 vintage clothing and accessories shows and sale. I went last year and it was awesome! Let me know if you are interested, I would love to find another like minded person to go to these types of things with.
This definately looks like Beau Jewels piece, i have a few signed and unsigned pieces with backings and prongs like this :) I so wish I could go to Estate sales! Dont have those in Australia, dying to come to the US and try it out :)
I'm originally from Michigan and only been here for a few years. I don't travel much, always afraid I'm going to get lost lol. I wouldn't mind attempting a trip to what you are explaining vintagemad!!!! Maybe we should plan something, would be find to go to some stuff with people that are into the same thing!! I am definately interested!!! I have every Saturday and Sunday off!! Where exactly is it at?? I went to Minnesota this past summer to meet one of my half brothers that lives in Bemidji.
Rotten Vintage: Definately is Beau Jewels, I actually bought the matching earrings the other day and awaiting their arrival! I like to buy random pieces, figure out who made them and then see if I can find the matching pieces! Ohhh you should so come to the US, I'm sure me and vintagemad can help you out while you are here!! It's sooo much fun. I debated moving to Australia about four years ago, kind of glad I didn't because I can't give up estate sales! lol
