newly acquired from estate sale. It appears to have originally been painted green. I loved its lines. So solid. Hand chamfered panels.

I will love to see some original color on this mid nineteen century trunk, the contruction was typical for the period, i love that, no one cut the leg, everything seems original accept for the lid, look like being replace, to bad also missing the lock(easy to replace)i love the cut out in the front at the buttom, add some decoration to the piece.
