Another big Bohemian bird vase I could not resist .
The detail is better than most one cones across though a little heavy on the foliage for todays tastes.
On a beige- ish coloured milk glass ground the birds on rose stems and butterfly are set in a forested scene .
The vase could be by Harrach but I am leaning on a Harrach blank decorated by Julius Mühlhaus & Co .
any other thoughts???

Not all bird-vases are made by Harrach. The painting and the opaque-grey (Royalgrau) glass definitely suggest, that this vase was made by F. Heckert ~1890 after a design by Otto Jummel. You may compare your Vase, especially the painting of the flowers, eg with the fotos of S. Zelasko "Fritz Heckert" pages 83 and 174.

What's not to love about this beauty...the vase alone is a wonderful soft colour, then add butterflies, birds and pretty flowers all well executed...nothing much left to add...gorgeous!!!!... :-)
