I was attracted to this Tango Glass vase because it has prunts......a first for me. Additionally it's the same shape as a yellow one I posted earlier that has tadpoles of a type I'd not seen before. On each the hexagonal rim is hand formed....they're not moulded.

Furthermore the prunts are placed beneath one of the flat sides of the funnel top, whilst the tadpoles are placed beneath a corner of the hexagonal funnel top.

Hoping to find another version one day......though no nearer knowing the maker!

    Height 18 cm./8 inches

Beautiful pair Peggy... I love how the prunts melt down the sides of the yellow one!

I look at items like these lovelies, slightly variant, and think of who made them. Did they just decide "I'm bored with round prunts. Today I am going to tadpole."
or did the factory make a decided creative change? I like to think the artisan had a go!

Hi Karen.....been missing you.....I think you can get differences coming from the instructions being imprecise....here no guide to exact placement on the shape ....but probably not more than that.
I have matching rose bowls with crimped rims....on one the gilded design is centred on the convex curve and on the other on the concave curve. Same design and well executed too!

I have barely been around Peggy - a busy time at work and other.
      Loving your tangos!

Thank you Rick, a lovely description.....much better than tadpoles, which really they're not!
