OK I admit I know nothing about these. I have no idea on age: mid-century, older, newer? I can't guess country of origin. I'm just intrigued and bedazzled by their beauty. Small vase is 7 3/4" tall. 3 3/4" at base on up to 2 5/8" at mouth. Larger companion is 10 1/8" tall. 4 1/4th" at bottom. 3 3/16" at mouth. Anyone have any ideas, or experience with this type of glass?

To the best of my knowledge, this decor has never been identified as to maker. Great examples!!

Never saw one but very interesting perhaps some UK maker from early 1900?

They are interesting! That adventurine throws me for a loop. Also, the glass is in such good shape I have a hard time believing that they're older pieces. But then the peloton technique also confounds things~ !!!???

I've never seen anything like this before......but I'm smitten!

Interestingly, I saw another example of this shape with thorns in a different colorful décor which I have also never seen before. I also saw one in a solid red with a white lining with the same body shape and random thorns, but with a ruffled rim on it.

Here is the image of the one that is the same shape and rim. This example stands at 7-7/8 inches. with similar mouth and base dimensions as your smaller example.

I have seen this before and I am probably mistaken, but I think I remember this as called confetti. I don't know, I'm getting old.

Thank you, JohannB, that seems plausible; I'm sure you're right.
