Two symbols of British and American cooperation during World War Two. --- These two brooches are possibly two of the most valuable "British Royal" gifts ever “secretly” presented to a United States private citizen, (Lawrence Dale "Larry" Bell, founder of the Bell Aircraft Company ), by foreign British Royal leaders since the American Revolutionary War. The pictures posted are photos of the brooches as well as supplementary photos to assist in backing up ongoing research. -- "Google" -- Part 2, Part 3,Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, and Part 12 - The Bell P-39 Airacobra brooches of Lawrence Dale "Larry" Bell Founder of The Bell Aircraft Company, for a more detailed historical, and educational accounting and description including dates. ------- "Google" -- Part 9 The Bell P-39 Airacobra Brooches of Lawrence Dale "Larry" Bell, Founder of The Bell Aircraft Company. -- For "Precious Metal Analysis" under the oversight and conducted by, "Koved Technology, LLC.", representing "The Thermo-Fisher Scientific Corporation".

Picture #1 (left): Is a very rare color photograph supplied by Tim Whetstone, the director of "The Lawrence Dale Bell Museum", in Mentone, IN. On the right is Lawrence 'Larry' Dale Bell and on the left is King Peter II, King of Yugoslavia. King Peter II visited the United States from June 21 and stayed till June 29, 1942. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, refused to leave England during the bombing by Hitler's forces. During this visit to the United States, King Peter II and Prime Minister Winston Churchill were guests of President Franklin D. Roosevelt at The White House in The United States. King Peter II addressed the United States Congress. The King also visited many United States industrial sites, including The Bell Aircraft Wheatfield Plant. The Production, supply, and delivery of the P-39 Airacobra to the RAF was the primary concern. King Peter II often acted as a representative of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, of The United Kingdom, ( King Peter II's Godparents ). ( King Peter II was also a member of the RAF ---- the Royal Air Force, of the United Kingdom ). ( see " The Bellringer", Bell Aircrafts monthly news publication, issues 8/1942 page 20 -- and -- 7/1945 page 18 ). After his U.S. visit, King Peter II traveled to Canada.

In the photo above, both gentlemen are surrounded by security and both are wearing wooden p-39 Airacobra brooches/badges. After the death of both of his parents, King Peter II, the godson of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, of The United Kingdom, spent much of his younger years at Windsor Castle. King Peter II, was often in the company of President Franklin D.
