I inherited this from my Mother, I know its old and the chain is too short to be a necklace and no markings can be found. I have 4 suitcases full of jewelry and will be posting randomly. I'm not quite sure what this particular piece is.

No it's to large to be a braclet , and to small to be a necklace. It has no opening clasp either. I'm still trying to guess??
