What does the screw on cap mean?
A screw cap is a metal cap that screws onto threads on the neck of a bottle, generally with a metal skirt down the neck to resemble the traditional wine capsule ("foil"). - These have the tamper-evident caps which break the seal of the cap when it's opened - similar to the common soda bottle caps and even the plastic milk gallon containers. -- You cannot date a bottle by way of the date the company was established - look for the embossed numbers on the bases.
