17''in x 26.5'' Superman Pop Art signed by artist the late Steve Kaufman.
Kaufman was a well known pop artist and assistant to the even more well known Andy Warhol. Warhol had his soup can- Kaufman had his Coke logos. However, as you can see, this piece isn't a Coke logo; it's Superman!
We did some poking around and found similar pieces, but none that were exactly the same- so, to our knowledge this particular scene is 1 of a kind.
It sold in our July 24th Fine Estates & Collectibles Auction for a final hammer price of $1,000 USD.
Pretty neat. Pretty nice.

Frosty21, yes it was very nice and clean; a very neat piece overall.
We wish we COULD ask for more, but it was SOLD at our auction, so what it brought is what it brought. We're happy, the consignors happy- a good turn-around.
