Decanter I know nothing about but I love it. It has Captain W. Mrgan's ship on one side of bottle, it has Sperm Whale Capture on other side. There are no marks of who made it but I would guess it is at least 100 years old.

Hello, my husband is related to Charles W. Morgan, and I know that throughout the years, a lot of promotional items were made with the ship's name and drawing on it. My husbands family has antiques that were items from the ship, but i doubt this item was an item from the actual ship. There were different points in time when the ship was more popular to the public than others, which might help you to date this item.

I dont remember exactly the dates, but when the ship was moved from Colonel Greens house, a long time ago, near the Village of Padanarem / South Dartmouth MA, to Mystic Seaport, it was a popular time, and also very recently it became popular again due to some remodeling work being done on the ship. I have found promotional items in thrift stores, like coffee cups from the 1960s or 70s with the ships name.
You might find info at the New Bedford Whaling Museum, https://www.whalingmuseum.org
as they have items from all periods of time, even items that were in my husbands grandmothers home from when she passed away in the 1980s.
Also, check for companies that might have made your item in New England, especially MA and VT.
      Good Luck!

I found a similar decanter on etsy, it is whaling themed, but does not show Captain Morgans ship, but it is made very similar. Here is the url:
