I saw some similar ones online, which is how i came up w/ that guess. Asian pottery is a pretty long and complex topic though and i always end up feeling like i KNOW SO LITTLE after trying to research them. Any info appreciated, as always.

I know exactly what you mean! I too come across quite a lot of Asian stuff, but I know so little about it and it seems so complex, so most of the rime I just leave it... On the other hand, one could also just choose with the Heart - if you like it, buy it!

      Did you try http://www.gothberg.com?

      Dear HO2,
As I mentioned on the other piece, this too is probably 20th C. It has a stamped mark, which cannot be read. The enamels are rather crude, but colors used denote "made for export". Robin56 mentioned Gotheborg, excellent, but a very high level site for very serious collectors. I have been studying Asian ceramics for over three years now, and have scratched the surface, but I love it.

Anyway, you have a pretty bowl, but no clear reference to Tongzhi.
      Regards, Kirk
