    The lock appears to be brass. It measures 1 3/4 inch by 1 inch. I have seen the round logo's, but never the square. I am not sure of what time period this would be? Would appreciate any input regarding this. Thank you.

      The square logo precedes the round logo. As for date I would say late 19th century or early 20th century as the pin tumbler cylinder lock mechanism wasn't invented until 1848 by Linus Yale and his son. Your lock has a pin tumbler push key mechanism.
