What I like about this sort of vase is it's familiarity from aunts' and grannies' shelves - I can imagine them all having one. César prefers this sort of thing - it is good I can blame him for one aspect of my collecting!

Ian, the enameling against the pink on this one make your description even more fitting! I like to display deeply hued sweet peas in mine - I think the aunts & grannies would have, too. :)
