Only 20 of these tanks were built. It was bit too tall and tended to tip over on uneven ground. It had a crew of 18 with 6 machine guns with a 57mm main gun.
The model is a bit of a nightmare to build and keep up as it has a track system where each piece of track is put together with a tiny pin which doesn't hold together very well. The suspension system has tiny springs in it to recreate a realistic suspension system but the suspension pieces tend to fall off. It does have a well detailed interior. In photo 3 you can see one of the radiators (I took off the top ventilation grill so it can be seen., there is another on the backside of the engine. Also it has the ammunition stowage and the controls for the main gun.
Even with the track that keep falling off it is a very cool model.
This is one of my favorite tanks, it's one of the scariest and silliest vehicles ever seen on the battlefield. I built a model of this tank as well. I will ask Mum if we can post it. Any way thank you for posting this.
