This buffa was given to my family in 1954 and I don't know anything about it other then its all wood and it have thin sheets of wood inlays on the front of the large drawer. And it have two doors one on each side of the large drawer for storage and a drawer for silverware over the top of the large drawer.on the back there it reads #5 buff Do anyone know any thing about the design, it needs to be cleaned.

Looks to be early 1900s. The best way to clean this, in my opinion, is take it to a professional cleaner/restorer. If you damage the varnish it detracts from value and more importantly the beauty.

Your buffet, sideboard, server dates from the 2nd quarter, 20th century. Probably part of a larger set as the buffet was piece #5.

It looks to have missing sections of veneer?

A professional restorer will probably cost you more than the piece is worth. I'd tighten up the pulls to prevent any more spinning (and scrape damage) and try a coat of wax.

Thank you scott i'll have someone take a look at it and tell me more on what process to use and what would be the best solutionto restore my buffet.
