I was at the Collectors Fair a few months ago here in Sydney and after a few hours had found nothing. It was then I saw this Dream of Jeannie bottle on a table and asked the price. Reasonable it was, probably because it was filthy.
At home I gave it a careful, light clean and the thing just shone!
It's quite large.
Better it is in fairly good condition. The beautifully cut stopper with a 6 or 9 in gilt is perfect. The cut points are all intact. I think you might see one flake on an edge. Hexagonal stopper .... Ten panel faces on the gilt decorated body.
I'd love someone to tell me the maker .... Harrach ???
Height: 24 cm or 9.5"
The stopper itself is 13 cm or 5.1"

Very likely Harrach, less likely, but possible, Baccarat. Both were doing this kind of glass in the 1850's-1860's.

I love it Kevin I hope you got it at a good price. It wont be long now & I will be able to go out hunting myself now I just have to get through Marks brain to take me to garage sales. I don't know the price so you would be the best judge on that one I just think it's tops as you must otherwise you would not of brought it but sometimes you just have to have something when I say you I mean everyone in general when they find something they like
