This is a Christopher Dresser designed pedestal mounted cup mouth decanter with etched palmate friezes.
This is not in any of my books but if it isn't designed by Christopher Dresser, it is by someone who snuk in and digested the Christopher Dresser design book. Cup mouthed decanters are pretty rare and and in combination with Christopher Dresser beloved pedestal foot on the decanter to allow the light to play underneath (not my words), the unusual shaped body, plus the original non-standard classical palmate frieze design, it screams I was designed and didn't come out of a pattern book. Anyway that's my story and I am sticking to it, unless some can attribute this.
