This style of vase is so distinctly Japanese; a lot of glass houses made vases like this.
Kurata however made these more, and better, and more beautiful, than most.
This pair date from the 1950s and are carrying the Kurata Patent Extend Process sticker - I have no idea what that process was!
White glass, coated in clear, hot worked, then iridised. These are just a lovely pair.
