    longhaired…

Hi all, I have this slightly strange vase which I have not been able to identify. It an amethyst colour is heavily acid treated with the highlights silvered, it has a cut top and no pontil mark, and features a portrait of a Lady. I plumped for it being Bohemian when first purchased, but now am entertaining the possibility that it might be French. Any help in identification would be greatly appreciated.

      Hi
      longhaired.
My 2 cent on this will be "Moser", just the way the multi side base from 1/5 of the bottom part, i remember seeing this design on many Moser vase, but i am still learning on glass, really complex universe.

Alan, thank you very much for your comment. I'm pretty certain it isn't Moser, of course I have the added advantage of being able to handle it, colour and manufacture just don't feel right. Thanks for the love Blunderbuss, Inky, Alan, MacArt, Aghcollect, & Vetraio.

The image looks like a Gibson Girl not Victorian so I would put it early 20th Century ... I ;like this enigma ... not see one before
