Issued to a Chinese Major Liu Shan Hun for fighting on the Burma Road while attached to the US army in India. It was kept hidden in the family in this state to prevent it from being discovered all these years.
The condition is the way I found it. An elderly man sold it to an antique store in China over 10 years ago. Could have been the son or the man himself, was very very old.
Lovely war-time memorabilia from China.
Nice to have the family history on it. Looks like the part that attaches to the ribbon is broken off. Can you post another picture of the other side?
