I inherited this dresser. It may have been purchased from Woodwards in Vancouver. Should this dresser be redone or left" as is"? Is it something that is worth selling? Thanks.

That's a beautiful dresser and actually looks perfect the way it is. If you try to re-do anything and you go to sell it, you will have lost a good amount of money. Leave it as it is, that's my suggestion.

I agree -- Leave it as is -- It has Character, and you LOSE that Value !!

Hi....What a gorgeous piece of history....did u ever find out the era or circa this piece was from....I believe I have the EXACT ONE. thank u for any info you can give me. On your piece. I am giving my "new" antique piece to my mother for her birthday in May.

I found the Woodward's stamp in the right side of the top right small drawer. I ended up selling the piece but interesting enough, the first person only wanted the mirror and I was left with the bottom dresser. I subsequently put the dresser for sale and somebody came along to purchase the dresser without the mirror! Tried to post a picture of the Woodward's stamp but was unable to.
