This is a green and cream with streaks of carmel slag brass lamp with long tails between the petals(brass wire with a brass ball on the tip of each tail). The lamp is 27 inches tall. The shade is eight panels. The size of the shade is 10 inches wide and 8 inches tall.
I bought at an estate sale in the garage area. The long tails between the petals had become undone and only two were attached. I got it at a bargain for only $15.00. The repair (rewired and resolder the shade and lamp) was about 9 times what I paid for it.
BUT IT LOOKS GREAT NOW.
Does anyone know where or when this was made? The lamp place consigned it out to a person who repairs glass shades. It accessed it to be about 85 years old. The solder melted as such a low temperature that it caused the petals to become loose. So he resolder the entire slag shade and reattached the long tails (wire frame between petals with a brass ball on the tip). The long tails are about 1/2 inch shorter than the actual slag petals.
Any information would be appreciated. Found only two images with internet search. One was a Cream slag lamp, just like mine and one was hanging light fixture on EBAY in Australia, but neither had any history with them.
