    This bottle is 7 1/2 inches from top to bottom... it is from germany and has german writing on it. If anyone has any information on this it would be greately appreciated. i have had this bottle for a year now and it was givin to me from a dear friend of mine.

      As you can see distributed by Jersey National Liquor Company, Patterson, NJ.

      Thank you for your comment but I can read and as far as I can tell it was only distributed by Jersey National Liquor Co. not where and who the bottle was designed from.

      Hi Cindy,
      Your bottle once contained a liqueur called Benediktbeurer Kloster Gold distilled by Riemerschmid in Munich, Germany. It was a fine herbal liqueur with real gold flakes floating in it. From memory it was supposed to have medicinal properties so it had a rather unique flavour which one had to get used to. I have a similar bottle that I bought for my wife back in the 70's. She liked it.
