    And another from the Rose Bowl. This radio is a bit small for 1947 at just a bit over 5" x 7". I believe the case is Bakelite and was painted white by the factory.
    What I like about this piece is the art deco styling, the small size, and that it is a tube radio. That and it didn't cost much.
    The drawback is that it does not work but I was buying it as as display piece anyway.
    This is John Meck radio which had many brand names. Not a big name in radio as he was out of business in 1956.
