I found this 1957 wheat penny no mint mark,laying in a parking lot it is in pretty rough shape was wondering if these are a common coin or scarce. Looking online places like eBay I have found a few for $1,500 US dollars and some sites saying worth zero. I'm not asking for an appraisal of my coin but a general consensus of is this coin worth collecting as I'm getting conflicting information.
Not my forte', but a quick search showed the reasons for no mint mark. I suggest you do the same. It only took about 15-20 seconds.
Not really in any collectable condition as far as coins go. There were 1,335,129,952 of them minted so they are still plentiful.

well it would be special if the tooth fair left it under your pillow other then that nothing I can see...but hang on to it's real copper ...
