Because I don't know what type of stone I'm afraid to clean/polish. I did wipe the band down because it was so tarnished you couldn't see the mark on the inside but I know it's still very dirty.
I think it's a lovely color, melanie, and a beautiful ring. Yes, the memories attached to our keepsakes make them priceless.
