I picked up these screwdrivers with the brass handles does anyone know what they may have been used for. Also the ED. HANSEN on the handles I'm not sure if they are a company name or if they are the name of the owner. I know that brass handled tools were sometimes used in conditions that did not need sparks. Any help Identifing them would be appreciated.

Brass (or beryllium) tools are used in explosives factories and gas works but these screwdrivers have steel shafts. I believe that Ed. Hansen made these tools and was proud of them (and didn't want them to go missing) so he signed them.
